REPORT General Report on Key Accelerator research Areas and Key R&D Issues (D4.1) / T. Garvey (PSI), J.-P. Koutchouk (CERN), B. Launé (CNRS/IN2P3), L. Lilje (DESY), O. Napoly (CEA), D. Obradors (CIEMAT), P. Pierini (INFN), B. Skoczen (IFJ PAN), S. Smith (STFC), P. Spiller (GSI), V. Ziemann (Uppsala University) WP4 / Task 4.1 This report identifies the critical Key Accelerator Research Areas (KARA) and Key Technical Issues (KTI) for R&D – and their synergies – in close interaction with the other TIARA coordination and technical work packages. Launé (CNRS), L. Lilje (DESY), O. Napoly (CEA), D. Obradors (CIEMAT), C. Omet (GSI), P. Pierini (INFN), B. Skoczen/D. Bocian (IFJ PAN), D. Schulte (CERN), S. Smith (STFC), V. Ziemann (Uppsala University) WP4 / Task 4.2 Interim report towards the R&D Projects Access Report (D4.2) TIARA-REP-WP4-2012-016 / 2012-11-08
REPORT R&D Projects Access Report (D4.2) / D. Bocian (IFJ PAN), T. Garvey (PSI), D. Schulte (CERN), A. Kallberg (Stockholm University), B. Launé (CNRS), L. Lilje (DESY), O. Napoly (CEA), D. Obradors (CIEMAT), P. Pierini (INFN), B. Skoczen (IFJ PAN), S. Smith (STFC), C. Omet (GSI), V. Ziemann (Uppsala University) WP4 / Task 4.2 This deliverable summarizes the findings of Task 4.2 "Procedure for initiating and methodology for costing and implementing collaborative R&D Projects" of TIARA-PP WP4. The outcome of this task will provide proposals to TIARA-PP WP2, which addresses the future governance structure of TIARA. The guidelines of WP2 concern the development of a "structure that is capable of administering funds aimed at partially financing a broad and ambitious R&D programme". REPORT Intermediate Report on Joint R&D Programme (MS17) / D. Bocian (IFJ PAN), T. Garvey (PSI), D. Schulte (CERN), A. Kallberg (Stockholm University), B. Launé (CNRS), L. Lilje (DESY), O. Napoly (CEA), D. Obradors (CIEMAT), P. Pierini (INFN), B. Skoczen (IFJ PAN), S. Smith (STFC), C. Omet (GSI), V. Ziemann (Uppsala University) WP4 / Task 4.3 As the present TIARA-PP goal of identifying the key technical issues in the accelerator R&D cannot be intended as a frozen snapshot of our present understanding of the technological challenges to address in present and future machines, before proceeding to the next stage of the development of the final plan of the collaborative R&D program (objective of D4.3, TTR), a revision of the KARA/KTI was deemed necessary by the WP4 members, and is the object of this intermediate report.
